Listen, no one is more shocked by where this one goes than me.
It starts innocently enough with a simple act of rejection and then culminates with maybe the most violent act that’s come out of my imagination.
Truly, I don’t know what this one is about but maybe that’s a good thing? Gun to my head, I think it’s a story about the dangers of putting your faith in catchall cures? Or like the dangers of trying to “fix” how you’re seen by others? I don’t know.
Here’s what I want to know before I move on to draft 2:

Do the choices I’ve made work? Honestly, I am so lost and surprised by what came out that I’m open to all suggestions.
